HOW TO READ A BOOK LIKE A GENIUS!

Have you ever read?

“The Power of Now”

“The 5 Agreements”

“I Am That “

And many other similar spiritual books?

Then it is likely that you are very rich spiritually but chances are you might also have some financial difficulties.

Have you ever read?

“The Total Money Makeover”

“The Intelligent Investor”

“One up in Wall Street “

“Rich Dad Poor Dad”

And many other financial books?

Then chances are that you are wealthy by now but perhaps you need to be richer in the inside, richer spiritually.

YOU ARE WHAT YOU READ!

To increase certain values in your life then you must read the books that will ILLUMINATE your mind and open it to new worlds.

Balance is always the key, just like a tall tree that has roots growing deeply under the ground but also the tree has long branches growing and reaching high towards the sky.

Some people occasionally tell me, Alfonso “I can’t remember anything when I read” or they say “I can’t concentrate enough to sit down and read”.

So here I have a few steps that will help you along, so that you can get the most out of reading your books.

1.DEVELOP CURIOSITY.

Curiosity will force your mind to retain better and remember everything, create notes and in your notes on the side of the book write down questions such as why the author says this or that? How can this help me? Questions create a void in your mind that will need to be filled with knowledge.

2 DRAW PICTURES.

Unfortunately, in our education system we are taught mostly to use our left brain, so you will remember things but rapidly forget them as well. To use our right brain means to remember in pictures and pictures are like tattoos that stay imprinted in your mind. And of course you know the saying a picture say 1000 words so with a little drawing you will remember 1000 words.

3 WHEN YOU TAKE NOTES USE DIFFERENT COLORS.

I personally use those pens with the four colors in one so I can change them quickly. Your unconscious mind will remember more vividly those notes that have different colors than those that are just in one color.

4 COMMIT TO READ THE BOOK UNTIL THE END.

Most of people buy a book and never read them, others start reading then quit after a few pages, very few people ever finish the whole book.

Make a strong determination to read the whole book. The results will be incredible because you will gain understanding of the whole picture of what the author is trying to impart to you, also you will feel accomplished when you finish and complete reading the book right through to the end.

Remember that geniuses are also leaders and….

LEADERS ARE READERS!

My suggestion is to go on Amazon online, buy 2 or 3 or 10 books on different topics and commit to finish them and you will see how your values will change and your knowledge will increase.

And for those that aspire to become great geniuses in something in particular, go buy 30 different books on the same subject and finish them all, at that point you will become an expert genius.
